Hi, I’m Rachel.
I’m a smART thinker.
Half artist. Half analytic nerd.
Half Artist.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me in a museum. I’m an avid oil painter with a BA in Fine Arts, and painting remains a core creative practice for me. Museums are my church. They get me out of my head, surprise me, and often give my brain the reset it needs.
Half Analytic Nerd
Alongside Fine Arts, I also hold a BA in Advertising. A combination that sparked a lifelong fascination with how creativity can impact human behavior. Why certain films divide opinion. Why some brands earn devotion over others. Exploring these questions, and uncovering the deeper truths behind our choices is what drives my work.
Working at the intersection of art and analysis
has been the foundation of my career in strategy.
Some of the company I’ve kept over the years:
A 15-year career working with an array of brands at every level. From repositioning campaigns and messaging systems to retail execution and market activation. It’s been such a great ride!
A Southern girl in Austin…
Currently based in Austin, Texas, I work as a freelance strategy consultant with agencies and brands across the U.S. Raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas, I’m a Southern girl at heart with a global outlook shaped by living and working in great cities like San Francisco, Chicago, and most recently, London.
Off the clock, you can find me soaking up the sunshine on a family hike, seeking out the city’s best tacos, or catching one of Austin’s many outdoor concerts. 🤘
…with diverse experience on award-winning brands.
Over the years, I’ve partnered with a wide range of brands and retailers (see above). While each experience has shaped how I work today, few have stayed with me as powerfully as my time on the P&G Always #LikeAGirl campaign.
What began as a brief centered on confidence — and a simple social-experiment— grew into a piece of work that resonated far beyond our expectations, earning recognition including a Gold Global Effie Award, a Glass Cannes Lion, as well as an Emmy for Best Commercial in 2014. More importantly, it set a lasting benchmark for me of what’s possible when clients and agencies collaborate with trust, ambition, and shared purpose. It’s a standard I continue to bring to every new partnership.
